Sorry but you are wrong, the Klei Entertainment team made their own engine for the game, they only use Flash as their character animation tool. Therefore Shank is NOT a flash game. So you’re so-called “fact” is completely bogus.

I understand if people do like a good challenge in games, but I play games for fun and for the stories (Assassin’s Creed, RDR, games with actual length and story in the single-player campaigns) not for a challenge
@Evilhamster95 No. This is flash game because is it really a flash game. They made this game using something similtar to flash animation. It looks like a flash game, it’s a fact and you can’t deny that. Search for videos of a game called “A boy and his blob” for the Wii. It’s a sidescroller too, just like Shank, but it doesn’t looks like flash. It was made using tradicional animation, which is, for instance, MUCH better than the cheap flash animation used Shank. Shank is a flash game. Fact.

Can we stop with the ‘Back in my day games we’re tough’ nonsense, please? Every time a slightly difficult game comes out now that’s all any game critic has to say. You know what, haven’t we reached a point now where a game can be tough without being a throwback to old gaming? Sure, maybe Shank is more like an old beat em up, but I’ve heard the ‘back in my day’ rambling too much for too many games. Oh, and by the way, you can still play games like Alien Hominid for free, why bother with Shank?

I’m really liking Derek as a reviewer, he gets very in depth with the games he’s reviewing. Too many other reviewers just say “This game Sucks” or “This game rocks” it’s always the extreme of the 2 without much detail. But Derek really breaks the game down and describes each game with great detail.
I like how you never talked about the story…

This is a cool game. I think the length is about right. The controls are really intuitive and consistent- anything you think your guy should be able to do he can do. It can be frustrating, but not too much. It sucks that the co-op mode is only offline though.
