Long story short, I need to send my Xbox in for repairs. Your xbox wont read disks because you shut it down directly by stopping the power while its playing the game. Next time exit the game and THEN turn off the xbox.

Go to Play’N'Trade and get it cleaned. Its only $25 and it is well worth it.

mine broke to and i sent it bac bcuz the disk drive broke they gave me a brand new 1 for free and a 1 month live membership. but it took about 4 weeks for mine 2 get bac

Ivan, I just had the same problem with my Xbox. There is something wrong with the Disk Drive. I brought mine to play and trade to get it fixed. Being as smart as they are, they ordered a part from CHINA to be sent to FLORIDA! Long story short, don’t bring your Xbox to play and trade…
you should take out your hard drive before you send it
Don’t stand it up it ruins it WAYYY faster there’s a major cooling fan on the bottom. Gives it RROD…….. Just a little tip
